Navigation Home lan_is_lol	LAN = L0L 2002 was held the 5th of januari 2002. The basic idea behind LAN=L0L is very simple: put a bunch of computer freaks with their computers into one big room and connect them all together. And yes, this idea works out just fine :) Some real enthausiasts were here one day early to help me build up the network, and ofcourse, to have some serious internet fun. After the network was succesfully set up, we started internetting and some gaming. We went on untill about 3 AM friday morning. Then we rolled out our sleeping-bags and slept on the floor untill half past seven in the morning. The 'others' came here on friday morning starting at half past eight (blaah... #%^#&$%& early!). So now, let the network-fun behin! We mostly player Counter-Strike and Motorcross Maddnes the entire day, but some other games as well. Nobody got injured while installing his PC, so there's nog reason (yet) to stop doing what we are doing. Click here to see some images we took Half past three in the afternoon LOT's and LOT's of people got killed in multiplayer-Counter-Strike and even more people fell off their motors during Motorcross madness. As people are training their RSI skills further and further, some get so addicted to their laptops, they need to be massage'd away from their keyboard. Others play soo much CStrike they can't keep their mouth closed anymore. And yes, someone tripped over the webcam-video-cable. No one got hurt, but the webcam showed a marvelous 'blue screen of dead cable' for a few minutes. Click here to see the entire set of images we took in the afternoon... Six PM Time to get some food into those people before they starve behind their PC's. It was really hard to get everybody to visit the kitchen to fill his plate. As soon as they got something, they ran back to their computers to go on with whatever they left behind just seconds ago with. Nine PM People are starting to get tired (or is Jojan just trying to get as many chips into his mouth as he possibly can?? <grin>), but we're not stopping yet! Frank somehow managed to beat his computer at a soccer game he was playing for about an hour or something... And click here for the last images Half past eleven in the evening At eleven o clock we 'started to stop'. People unplugged their stuff and went back home. At half past eleven, almost everybody was gone. Robert, Frank, Jojan and I started cleaning up stuff and re-organize the room back to the way it normally is. SPECIAL THNX to Robert, Frank and Jojan for helping out, it really saved me A LOT of time... Conclusion : LAN = L0L 2002 was SERIOUS FUN.
